CSSGB

The Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.

Course Description: The CSSGB course is offered over 10 weekly in person sessions. The purpose of the course is to enable students to pass the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Exam. The course itself will follow DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) as both a roadmap through the material and a methodology to instruction.

Course Instructor: Brandon Theiss: A Senior member of ASQ and an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer, ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Calibration Technician and an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality Organizational Excellence. His articles have appeared in ASQ’s Quality Progress and IIE’s Industrial Engineer Magazine

 

General Course Information:

Class starts at 6:30 p.m. SHARP and will usually end by 9:30 p.m. and includes one break (vending machines are available on site) unless indicated otherwise.

  • Course fee  includes Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt Handbook which will be provided to you on the 1st day of class, unless indicated otherwise.
  • The course will run on Tuesday evenings for 10 consecutive weeks (3/20-5/29) with no class the week of 5/22 because of IIE conference in Orlando
  • Payment for course must be made before the course start date.

Application deadline for the June 2, 2012 Green Belt Exam is April 13, 2012. Registration and fees are separate from Princeton Section Course registration. You are very welcome to take this course even if you don’t plan to take the exam. If you are already certified, this course will earn you 3.0 Recertification Units that may be applicable to your other ASQ recertifications
